Life Begins at Conception

On June 24, the Supreme Court justices voted 6 to 3 to uphold a restrictive Mississippi abortion law.  The outcome was telegraphed in the leaked draft but the final ruling immediately reshaped the political landscape and cleared the way for states to ban or severely limit abortion access.

Truth of the matter with this one is, there is no constitutional right to have an abortion in the United States. So what the Supreme Court actually did here was correct a mistake that happened 50 years ago when the Supreme Court got involved in Roe vs. Wade.

It has always been the duty of the state to decide about abortion laws. Activist judges got involved and attempted to change the course of American History. They succeeded for fifty years, but thankfully our current Supreme Court corrected the judicial mistake.

However, to make this perfectly clear, the ruling does not BAN abortion in the United States. It simply leaves it up to the states to decide how they want to legislate abortion laws.

Life begins at creation, not birth.
