Preparing for the New School Year
"The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”
Zephaniah 3:17
With the recent tragedies of school shootings and the push to teach our children to question whether or not they actually are the person (or gender) God made them to be, it can be scary to think of sending them to school every day. It's hard to imagine that the place where they spend hours a day could be one of the most dangerous places they will go. Now more than ever we need to arm our kids with scriptures from the Word of God and pray over their physical, mental and emotional safety. It is crucial for parents to stand up for their kids and protect their minds from being corrupted into thinking that unnatural things are the new normal. This school year we are praying for God's protection to keep our kids safe and thankful that we live in a state that is governed by a man that stands by the Word of God and parental rights.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9
